Howard Calvin Burchett, 78, of South Charleston, passed away on February 28, 2021.

He was born on November 20, 1942 to the late Brady and Lola Burchett.

Calvin was a graduate of Dunbar High School, class of 1961. He was a retired Navy veteran and owned a refrigeration and air conditioning business for many years. Calvin was an avid lover of all sports.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Glen.

Calvin is survived by a brother; sister-in-law; and multiple nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Thomas Memorial Hospital for their loving care.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 4, at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, with Shawn Strickland officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
