Hugh Thomas Jarrett, 85, of St. Albans, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday October 28, 2025.

He was born on October 12, 1940 in South Charleston to the late Burton and Gaye Jarrett.

Hugh was a christian man who was a member of the Browns Creek Church of God. He retired from Jefferds Corporation in St. Albans after 30+ years of service.

In addition to his parents he was preceded by his three brothers, William, Eugene and David.

Hugh is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Katy Jarrett; his son, Paul Jarrett and wife Heather of Coalton; his sisters, Betty McCallister and husband Larry Sr. of St. Albans, Martha Hillard and husband Ron of St. Albans; and his brother, Jim Jarrett of St. Albans.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 31, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Dr. Larry McCallister Sr. and Rev. Larry McCallister Jr. officating. Burial will be at a later date.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
