Obituary

Irene Lottie Wheeler, 92, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, the Rev. Garfield W. Wheeler.

Irene was a devoted Christian and attended the Goff Mountain Community Mission Church.

She is survived by her four children, Donna Cooper of Cross Lanes, Carla Smith of Nitro, Wilson Wheeler and his wife, Cammie of Charleston and Delbert Wheeler and his wife, Mary of Cross Lanes; her twelve grandchildren, Marian (Eugene) Weems, Chris (Amanda) Cooper, Lisa Cooper, Kelly Dunlap, Jeff (Heather) Smith, Carobeth (Rob) Zorzos, Callie (Johnathan) Griffith, Derrick Coutz, Crystal Coutz, Matthew (Joyce) Wheeler, Melissa (Jim) Lohrenz and Del Wheeler; and seventeen great grandchildren, Hailey, Rebeka, Kobe, Rob, Keira, Ian, ReAnna, Quintin, Erin, Isiah, Isabella, Aiden, Ayla, Lucas, Wyatt, Audry and Liam. Also surviving are her two brothers, Walt Brown and Howard "Buck" Brown and her sister, Hazel.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, January 27, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Walter Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, January 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
