Jack Lee Bays, 80, of  Charleston, West Virginia passed away on July 15, 2023.

He was born on February 6, 1943 to the late Beverly and Violet Bays. Jack enjoyed making things, family vacations, and working in the yard.  He will be missed very much.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Faye Bays; and sisters, Pam O'Neil and Shirley Spears.

He is survived by step-daughter, Brenda Fernatt (Mike); brother, Earl Bays; sisters, Sherry Blair, Regina Bays, and Bridgette Shaffer; grandchildren, Christina Reed and Erin Cook; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Brooklyn, Christian, and Renesemee' Roop; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 24 in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston with Pastor Charles Shelton officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
