Jack William Hanson passed away into the presence of the Lord on Friday, November 3, 2006, in CAMC General Hospital.
He was born June 7, 1927 to the late George and Kathryn Hanson in Charleston. Jack was an engineer with Briley Wild of Barberton, OH, and then transferred to Clearwater, FL, before retirement. He was also formerly employed with FMC Ordinance of South Charleston.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, one granddaughter, and two great grandchildren.
Mr. Hanson is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mildred M. Hanson, one son, one stepson, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston, with the Rev. Mark Patton officiating.
Friends may call thirty minutes prior to the service at the cemetery.
