Jack C. Martin's Obituary
Jack C. Martin, 80, of Dunbar, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009.
He was born January 1, 1929 at Charleston.
He retired with 35 years' service in the Air National Guard, including 2 years' Active duty.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Crist Martin and Denver Martin and brother, Benney Martin.
Mr. Martin is survived by a niece, Marilyn Coddington of Allendale, MI, and a large number of children and friends of the Big Chimney Baptist Church at Charleston.
Funeral services will be held at 1030 a.m., Thursday, January 22, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dan Forwood officiating, Pastor of the Big Chimney Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
Friends may call beginning at 10 a.m., Thursday, prior to the service.
