Jackie Harmon "Jack" Parrish, Sr., 68, of Charleston, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010, at CAMC –Memorial Hospital.
He was a Christian and a musician, having played with country western bands all over the Kanawha Valley. He was a lifelong resident of Kanawha County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Conway and Adeline Damewood Parrish, son, Jackie Harmon Parrish, Jr., brothers, Thomas Parrish, Jr. and Freddie Marcel Parrish, sister, Betty Louise Wiseman, brother-in-law, Jack Edward Boyer and sister-in-law, Dolores Counts Eplin.
Surviving are his loving wife, Sherrie L. Eplin Parrish; daughters, Adeline Grace Parrish at home and Angela Dawn Byrd of Florida; step-daughters, Sara Rose Craddock and husband, Jason, of South Charleston and Florence Falls of Florida; sisters, Patsy Boyer and Margaret Grose, and her husband Charles W. Grose of Charleston; brother-in-law, the Rev. Barry Eplin and wife, Renea of Charleston, and Terry Eplin and wife Delani of Florence, KY; sister-in-law, Brenda Sue Eplin Angel and husband, Robert of South Charleston; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 25, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Barry Eplin officiating.
