James "Jim" E. Breeden, 65, of Charleston passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Hospice Hubbard House after a short battle with Leukemia.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Bonnie J. Hunt Breeden.
He is survived by his children, Karen Lilly of Charleston, Scott Breeden and wife Candy of South Charleston, Matt Breeden of South Charleston, Jonnie Breeden and fiancé Tabby Williams of Charleston; parents, Imogene and William Breeden of Charleston; brothers, Danny Breeden and wife Brenda of Florida, Bill Breeden and wife Sherry of Charleston; nephews Steve, Sean, Michael and Mark; 5 grandchildren Ashley, Jeremy, Tyler, Katie, Danielle; 3 great grandchildren, Chase, Bella and Carter; and a large extended family of relatives and friends.
James graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School and WV State College. He was retired from Piedmont Airlines, DuPont and Southern WV Community and Technical College. He was a member of the Dunbar Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of 42 years.
He was most known for his sense of humor, kindness and loving heart. His family and friends will miss the comical Mr. Fixit. Jim never lost his amazing sense of humor even while coping with many years of illness.
The family would like to thank the nurses at CAMC and the caregivers at Hospice Hubbard House for their loving care, kindness and compassion during his final days.
A memorial service will be on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 5 p.m. Services will be held at the Dunbar Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
