James R. Bumgardner's Obituary
James R. " Jimmy" Bumgardner, Sr., of Sissonville, died peacefully on September 30, 2008, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation for Dunbar.
The son of the late John and Gertrude Bumgardner, he was born October 3, 1926. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired from Dunbar Lumbar Company.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Murlouise Bumgardner; son, James R. "Rick" Bumgardner, Jr. and his wife, Drenda and one much loved granddaughter, Jessica T. Bumgardner; sisters, Jean Scannell and her husband, William of Columbus, OH and Bonnie Smith and her husband, David.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, October 3, at Grandview Memorial Park with the Mike Jarrett officiating.
Friends may call 30 minutes prior to the service at the cemetery.
The family would like to express their appreciation to SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation for Dunbar for their excellent care.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
