James "Jimmy" Grant Spainhour, 83, of Dunbar, WV passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 due to complications following surgery.

He was born on October 9, 1941, at home in Charleston WV, son of the late David Paul Spainhour, Sr. and Ernestine Hastings.

Jimmy attended church at Rosalina Gospel Tabernacle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Paul Spainhour, Jr., and his sister, Josephine E. Spainhour.

Jimmy is survived by his sister, Judith L. Raines (Robert), a nephew, and many nieces.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Graceland Memorial Park with Pastor Josh Scarberry officiating.

Family will welcome visitors from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kanawha Humane Association in Charleston.
