James Edsel Huffman

James Edsel Huffman, 68, of St. Albans, WV, passed away surrounded by his family on September 22, 2026, at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV.

He was born October 30, 1957, in West Hamlin, WV, to Hubert and Velva Huffman. James married Rosa Pierson on June 27, 1998, in Culloden, WV.

James attended and graduated from East Bank High School in 1975. He worked at and retired from Kroger of Delaware Avenue in Charleston. He attended Church of God of Prophecy in Charleston. James was an avid car enthusiast and talented artist. Above all, he was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Velva Huffman.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa; his son, Max (Emma); his brothers, John (Leslie) and Delmer; and his sister, Judy (Richard) Webb.

A funeral service will be held at 5 pm on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
