James N. Jarrett, 84, of Charleston passed away peacefully with his children around him on January 27, 2013 of natural causes.
He was born on April 15, 1928, was a retired truck driver, and a member of Teamsters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark O. and Thelma W. Jarrett; brothers, Donald R. Jarrett, S. Mark Jarrett, and Glen Jarrett; and sister, Juanita Voiles.
He is survived by his sons, James F. Jarrett of Burkburnett, TX, Boyce C. Jarrett and wife Bev of Scott Depot; David N. Jarrett and wife Diana of Charlotte, NC, Brian Kevin Jarrett and wife Belinda of St Albans; daughter, Cheryl Jarrett Slater and husband Danny of Charleston; brothers, Boyce E. Jarrett of Braxton County and Gary W. Jarrett of FL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Mike Hager officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in South Charleston.
Friends may call one hour prior to service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
