James Ray Lawson's Obituary
James Ray Lawson, 70, of South Charleston passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Hubbard Hospice House following a long illness.
James worked as a construction worker and a landscaper. He enjoyed watching the game of football, and spending time with his friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Irene Lawson; brother, Robert Lawson; and his sister, Ruth Hartwell.
He is survived by his daughters, Sandra Humphrey, and Brenda Moyer; brothers, Edward Lee Lawson and Oscar Lawson; sisters, Lola Mace and Ora Holt; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., Thursday, August 23, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Charles Shelton and Chaplin Eugene Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
