James R. "Jim" Wilson,  a Navy Veteran, born February 22, 1945 in Charleston, West Virginia, passed away December 26, 2025 at Hubbard Hospice House during a courageous battle with cancer.

Jim was a gifted artist. He loved riding motorcycles and was passionate about Mountaineer sports.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mamie M. and Charles L. Wilson; wife, Peggy A. Boylen Wilson; son, Brian A. Wilson; and sister, Jeanette Wilson Adams.

Jim is survived by his son, Garrett Wilson (Angela); grandson, Jarrett Wilson; sister, Jill Holmes (David); brother, Jack Wilson; along with numerous family, friends, and his beloved cat.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hubbard Hospice House for the compassion and care that was shown to Jim and his family during this sad time.
