James Edward Wilmoth, 72, of Deltona, Fla., passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at his home after a 2 ½ year battle with mesothelioma.
He was retired from the US Navy, having served in the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts.
Mr. Wilmoth was preceded in death by his parents, Okey and Eathel Wilmoth.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis McCutcheon Wilmoth; daughters, Mary Rebecca Milam of Panama City, Fla. and Theresa Lee Carmack of Deltona, Fla.; brother, Donald Wilmoth of Ringgold, Ga; sister, Virginia Watkins of South Charleston; grandchildren, Wayne Milam, Brenda Wright, Staci Kasper and Brittni Carmack and several great grandchildren, nephew and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 27, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Rev. Kent Estep officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park.
