James "Jamez" Wiseman, 46, of South Charleston passed away on July 25, 2021.

He married Katie Hager on July 4, 2009 and on August 31, 2013 their daughter Mira Ann Wisemen was born.

James was a devoted father to Mira. He was also an incredible big brother to his sister, Chrissy with whom he shared a special bond. He was a wonderful friend to so many.

James was a "hippy at heart" and loved The Grateful Dead. He was a member of Union Baptist Church, where he was often chosen played the role of Jesus in church plays, because of his sweet spirit. James was a dedicated employee at Lester Raines, where his coworkers were like his family.

His seven year old daughter frequently said, "Give it to Daddy, he can fix anything."

James is survived by his wife, Katie Wiseman; daughter, Mira Wiseman; parents, Larry and Donna Wisemen; sister, Chrissy Sirbaugh; nephew, Seth Sirbaugh; niece, Amelia Sirbaugh; his grandparents, aunts and uncles.

His contagious smile and sweet spirit will be missed by all that knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
