Jan Vance, 56, of Scott Depot, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021.

She was born on August 30, 1965 in Charleston to the late Harry Carlos, Sr. and Mary Ellen Vance.

For 28 years, Jan was the Operations Manager at Office and Commercial Cleaning. She enjoyed her many travels with the owners, Matt and Robbie Coleman. Jan was a member of Harper Memorial Gospel Tabernacle in Cross Lanes.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her many nieces and nephews . She was also a dedicated foster parent for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her partner in life, David Parsons; brothers, Larry and Charles; niece, Amanda; and nephews, Kelly and Brandon.

Jan is survived by her brothers, Harry and Rick; her sisters, Debra, Karen, Billie and Bobbie; 14 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
