Jane L. Blackwell's Obituary
Jane L. Blackwell, of South Charleston, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, after a short illness.
She graduated from Winfield High School, and retired from Union Carbide as a cashier after 20 years of service, and then became a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, J.D. "Delbert" Blackwell; brother-in-law, John P. Blackwell and nephew, John P. Blackwell, II both of South Charleston; special cousin, Allen Simms and his wife, Barbara of Winfield; special caregivers, Carol and Johnny McDavid of South Charleston..
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 8, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Mark Thaxton officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 7, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
