Mrs. Janene "Jan" Louise Martin went to be with the Lord, peacefully in her sleep, on January 3, 2014, at home.

Jan was an active member of Cross Lanes Baptist Church for many years. Her passion was going to church and being with her family. She had traveled the world at a young age with her family. She was a homemaker and later in life became a realtor for Old Colony for 16 years. After retirement she was very involved with her 3 grandchildren and family.

She was preceded in death by her father Roy C. McCutcheon, and her brother Van McCutcheon.

Jan is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Walter G. Martin; brother, Gregory P. McCutcheon; sister, Patsy L. Tenpenny; son, Jeffery P. Martin; daughter, Karri L. Kennedy; grandchildren, Nicholas W. Kennedy, Landon J. Kennedy, Owen G. Martin.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, January 5, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Seth Polk officiating. Burial will be at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery for family at a later date.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
