Janet Sue Liberty, 78, of St. Albans, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

She was born in Charleston, WV on December 26, 1947 to the late Thomas Welker and Helen Brown.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Liberty, and her five brothers, Chuck, Lewis, Bill, David, and Paul.

She is survived and dearly loved by her partner, Frank Scarberry Sr.; her children, Robert Liberty, Patricia Liberty Cook, and Stephanie Liberty; her eight grandchildren; and her two great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.  Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Family will welcome visitors one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
