Janice Pauline Barnhart, 95, of Sissonville, passed away on June 18, 2022.

She was born on August 27, 1926 in Sissonville, to the late Lawrence and Zelma Harrison.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glow Barnhart; son, Carl Barnhart; granddaughter, Shannon Thornton; one sister; and four brothers.

Janice is survived by her two sons, Denny Barnhart of Charleston and Donald Barnhart and wife Helen of Sissonville; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Barnhart of Sissonville; grandson, Donald Stacy and wife Tasha of Liberty; granddaughter, Kerri Barnhart of North Carolina; great-grandchildren, Erika Thornton of Florida and Caleb Barnhart of Liberty; and sisters, Leoata Faber and husband Frank of Jackson County, Anna Harrison of Huntington, and Rachel Snodgrass of Charleston.

Per her wishes there will be no services. She will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Gardens of Memories, Sissonville.
