Janice Marie Cook's Obituary
Janice Marie Cook, 72, of Dunbar, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at Hubbard Hospice House after a long illness.
She had been employed as an executive claims specialist for Accordia and retired from Renaissance with the City of St. Albans. She was a native of Burnwell, WV.
Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Albert Cook and by her son, Jerry Cook.
Surviving are her sisters, Jean Ashley of Charleston and brothers, Gordon Sexton of Florida and Robert Sexton of Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Doyle D. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to special caregiver, Gabriella Marston and to the staff of the Hubbard Hospice House for their wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311.
