Janna Lynae
Creasy
October 1, 1977 – November 18, 2019
Janna Lynae Duncan Creasy, 42, of Dunbar, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 18, 2019.
As a young girl, Janna was an avid martial artist and over the years achieved many awards and accomplishments. She was a 1995 graduate of South Charleston High School. She then went on to obtain her Associates Degree in Business Administration. Janna was currently employed as an Administrative Assistant for a German based company that specializes in mining filtration.
Janna loved all of her family very much, even those who lived out of state that she did not get to see as much as she would have liked. She was especially proud of both her son and niece's accomplishments in their lives, and was one of their biggest cheerleaders. Janna also adored her fur babies, Major and Aries.
She is survived by her husband of 21 year, Eric Creasy and son Bradley Creasy both of Dunbar; parents Lyle and Renalda Duncan of South Charleston; sister, Rae Duncan-Carpenter; brother-in-law Scottie Carpenter; niece Baylee Carpenter, all of Cross Lanes; and surrogate mother to a very special young lady, Heather Williams.
Janna was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary K. Duncan-Lavender of South Charleston; grandfather, C. Guy Mayes; grandmother, Mary J. Mayes both of Cass, she would always describe them as her angels in heaven. She is with them now and even in our time of grief and sorrow; we can rejoice in the Lord and know that those who have been left behind are now blessed with another angel to watch over us.
A graveside service will be held for friends and family at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Institute, as she was a supportive military wife, with Rev Mark A. Jarrell officiating.
If anyone wishes, they can also join the family immediately after services at the Institute Volunteer Fire Department, who is graciously providing dinner for them.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
