Jarrell "Rick" Martin

Rick Martin, 60, passed away, after a long battle with COPD, on December 3, 2016 with his wife and sons by his side.

He was born on June 13, 1956 in Charleston, to the late Frank and Louise Martin.

Rick is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carla Rust Martin; sons, Shawn of Bristol, TN and Rick (Kendra) of Charleston; grandchildren, Tegan and Sydney; sisters, Wanda Graham, Frances Ford, and Dolores (Ken) Lipps; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Allen "Buck" Martin.

Before retirement, Rick worked 18 years in the Chemical Industry at DuPont, but his biggest passion was working on cars, both old and new.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, at Keller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
