Jean Kesling, 82, of Nitro, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at Thomas Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
While she was an avid member of the Jolly Travelers Club and a long time member of the Community Chapel Church in Cross Lanes, she had, over her lifetime, been involved in numerous organizations.
Surviving are her son, Greg Kesling and his wife, Diane of Charleston; daughter, Sharon Elaine Rollins of Dallas, Tx; sisters, Louise Tinsley of Cross Lanes and Betty Johnson of Oxen Hill, Md; grandsons, Lucas and Tucker Kesling and Ty Rollins; granddaughter, Jesse Kesling.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 9, at the Community Chapel Church with the Rev. Phillip Conn officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, July 7, and 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, July 8, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Jean cherished her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by all.
