Jeffrey Lewis Henson, 51, of South Charleston, went home to be with God on Sunday, February 25, 2018.

He was born on March 15, 1966 in South Charleston to J. Steven and Sally Lewis Henson.

Jeffrey was a 1984 graduate of Belpre High School in Belpre, Ohio. He attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He was a talented and accomplished writer and award winning journalist.

He was preceded in death by his father, J. Steven Henson.

Jeffrey is survived by his daughters, Jordan Henson of Minford, Ohio; Morgan Henson of Minford, Ohio; mother, Sally Lewis Henson of South Charleston; sister, Stefanie Morrison and her husband, Scott of Saline, Michigan; and nephew, Andy Nussel of Saline, Michigan.

Jeffrey was a friend of Bill W.

At Jeffrey's request there are no services scheduled at this time.

It was Jeffrey's wish, that in lieu of flowers donations be made to your local homeless shelter.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
