Jeffrey Charles Thomas, 58, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 from complications of surgery.

He was born February 23, 1961, son of the late Rev. Carroll and Sylvia Thomas.

Jeff graduated from Dunbar High School, class of 1979.  He graduated from Ben Franklin Technical School with a CNA certificate. This training was used to care for his mother for the last six months of her life.

He was a former member of International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local #13.   After moving to Florida, he worked for a number of years in the construction industry where he became injured and unable to continue in construction. After moving back to West Virginia, he worked as chef at Edgewood County Club.

Jeff leaves behind his son, Justin; two grandsons, Kingston and Kannon; brother, Stephen; and a host of family and friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Keller Funeral Home, PO Box 268, Dunbar, WV 25064, in Jeff's name.  This money will be used to help with funeral expenses.
