Jeremy Michael Lloyd, 48, of South Charleston, formerly of St. Albans went to his heavenly home on Friday, July 7, 2023.

He was born August 1, 1974 in Charleston to Ellen Lloyd Hensley, and the late Gary E. Lloyd. Jeremy previously worked for Gutter Pro, 1st Security, and several construction companies. He was an avid nature lover, and was always ready for a hike in the woods while checking out every creek for arrow heads, petrified wood or special rocks.  He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Lloyd; step-father, Thomas Hensley; grandparents, Harold and Ellen Hannon, and Reta and Thomas Lloyd.

Jeremy, along with his mother, is survived by his son, Jeremy Parsons; brothers, Gary Lloyd, Joshua, Shane, and Jesse Hensley; nieces, Brooke and Isabella Hensley, Erica, Lilli, and Anna Lloyd; nephews, Brandon Cartmill, and Thomas Hensley.  He was close to his aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved his longtime girlfriend, Twyna Moss.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 15 at Fox Hill Cemetery, South Charleston with Pastor Larry Wood officiating.
