Obituary

Jerry Lee "Gypsy" King, 60, of Charleston, was born on August 25, 1947 in Ohio, passed away at VA Hospital, Huntington, on Sunday, January 20, 2008, after a sudden illness.

He was retired from the US Army after 22 of service and from WV department of Highways.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerrold L. and Mary L. King; grandmother, Virginia Tarleton.

Surviving are daughters, Brandy J. King and fiancé, Johnny Burgess of South Charleston, Virginia C. King of Campbells Creek; son, William J. King, and companion Andy Sanchez of Charleston; granddaughters, Mary A. King, Kelsie Atkins, and Stephanie King-Burgess; sister, Linda K. Moles of Campbells Creek; nephews; also the love of his life Lucinda; and very best friend, Loretta Good.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, January 24, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Frank Goff officiating. Burial will follow in WV National Cemetery, Grafton, at 2:30 p.m., Thursday.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
