Jewell Vernett Wray, 80, of Dunbar, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010, at Hubbard Hospice House.

She was a retired bookkeeper with Tug Walker Excavating and was a member of the Dunbar United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her children, Roger Lee Wray and his wife, Susan of Kenna, Linda Carol Rowley and her husband, Ron of Dunbar and Lana Sue Hammond and her husband, Joe of Sissonville; brother, Vernon "V. T." Vaughan of Baltimore, MD; sister, Dulcie Martin of Charlottesville, VA. Also surviving are grandchildren, Kent and Kevin Rowley, Kari and Travis Hammond and Megan and Kyle Wray.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, August 28, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Jewell will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
