Jill Esther Petry, 63, of Marmet, WV, left this earth peacefully on March 27, 2025, at her home in Winfield, WV.

Born on May 22, 1961, Jill's life was marked by the deep connection she forged with those of whom she surrounded herself.  Her dedication to her faith and to her family was fierce, and the amount of pride she felt for her loved ones was witnessed by all who knew her.  Jill's free spirit, infectious laughter and wittiness will live on forever within out hearts.

Jill believed her life's greatest accomplishment was being the mother of her two daughters in which she instilled her deepest convictions of living life courageously and loving abundantly.  Her wisdom and strength will always remain in the hearts of her loved ones.

Jill was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Lou Cozort; her brother, Tony Cozort; her grandparents, Beatrice and Mike Hill; and her father, Mickey Adkins.

Jill is survived by her daughters, Andria Siage (Youssef) of Charlotte, NC, and Alyssa Petry of Charleston, SC; her sister, Pamela Furr (Kevin) of Hurricane, WV; her nieces, Alexandrea Eads (Wesley) of Summerville, SC, and Delaney Furr of Hurricane, WV; her former husband, John Petry; her special friend, Sherry Ball; along with many cousins.

Jill was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren, Josiah and Lilah Siage of Charlotte, NC, whom she loved dearly and brought joy to her life.

Jill was a lover of nature and animals.  She cherished her cat, Luna, and doted on her 'fur grand babies' LuLu and Grayson.

A Celebration of Life for Jill will take place in June.  Her loving presence and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
