Jimmie Jean Smith's Obituary
Jimmie "Jean" Smith, 81, of Winfield, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at St. Mary's Hospital, Huntington.
She was retired from U-Haul of St. Albans and attended the Judson Baptist Church. Jean was a native of Kayford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Gerald Smith and parents, Basil E. and Easter L. Jarrell.
Surviving are her son, Danny Smith and his wife, Kay of Frazeysburg, Ohio; daughter, Deborah Myers and her husband, Harvey of St. Albans; sister, Dora Lee Grover of Houston, TX.
She is also survived by grandchildren, Brian Smith, Chris Myers and Michelle Catersino and great grandchildren, Jessica, Austin and Ethan Smith, Morgan Crowder, Breanna and Brody Potter, and Nola and Ada Catersino.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Harold B. White, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Teays Valley Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the New Hope Animal Rescue, 2806 Putnam Avenue, Hurricane, WV 25526.
