Jimmy Mitchell, 65, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

He was born on May 11, 1957 in El Centro, CA, to Mary Sue Gilley.

Jimmy was a retired auto mechanic from Sutton Automotive in Huntsville, Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Sue Gilley; and grandparents, Paul and Mary Gilley.

Jimmy is survived by his wife Robin Mitchell; daughters, Kara Mitchell and Leah Mitchell; granddaughters, Gracie Stanley, Carly Stanley, and Aurora Fix of Cross Lanes; brother, Clarence Edgmon of Franklin, TN; and sister, Paula Sue Gilley of Union Grove, AL.

A small family gathering to celebrate the life of Jimmy Mitchell will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
