Jo Anne Kirk Eastwood, 87, of South Charleston, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.

She was born on May 1, 1931, in Charleston, to the late Thomas and Neola Kirk.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack William Eastwood; brothers, Thomas Kirk Jr., Preston Kirk, James Kirk; sisters, Kathryn Kirk, Juanita Rugel, and Margaret Hanshaw.

Jo Anne is survived by her daughters, Lee Anne Smith (Daniel) of Dunbar, Frances Bostic of South Charleston; grandchildren, Caroline Worts (Mark) of St. Louis, MO, Elliot Smith (Vera) of Columbus, OH, Christina Smith of South Charleston, Jennifer Anne Watkins (Wes) of South Charleston; great grandchildren, Paige Worts, Charlotte Worts, Lauren Smith, Sydney Watkins, Rylan Watkins; and her brother, Adrian Kirk of Spring Hill, FL. She will be missed by her loving dog, Lilly.

The family would like to thank all the nurses at The Dunbar Center for their loving care.

A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 29 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Following the visitation, there will be a procession leaving Keller Funeral Home going to Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, for a 2:30 p.m. graveside service in the lower chapel.
