Joan C. Balser

Joan C. Balser, 95, passed away peacefully at Angel’s Touch in St. Albans, WV, on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Blaine Balser; her daughter, Evelyn Neal; her son, Jeff Balser; her parents, David and Bernice Casdorph; her brothers Basil, Roy and Ray Casdorph; her sister, Mary Jones.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cathy Pomplun (Richard) of Virginia; her daughter-in-law, Tresa Balser of Dunbar; her son-in-law, Robert Neal; her grandchildren, Jeremy Middleton of Cross Lanes, Eric Middleton (Megan) of Virginia, and Devin Middleton and Mike Terry of Virginia. Her great grandchildren, Blaine Middleton; Sklar Middleton, Aeva Jarrell and Madysin Balser.

We would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Angel’s Touch and HospiceCare for the great care Joan received while living there.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Family will receive guests one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
