Joan A. Houston, 85, of Winfield, formerly of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

She was born on November 3, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Manford and Madeline Seigler.

Joan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Also a long time resident of Dunbar, who helped raise the kids in her neighborhood, She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger R. Houston.

She is survived by her twin sister, Jean Lenzer of Winfield; daughters, Carla Cheryl Crouch and husband Shawn of Winfield, Linda Cottrill and husband James of Poca; grandchildren, Brandi N. Taylor and husband David of Eleanor, Katelyn Cottrill of Poca, Joseph Cottrill of Poca; great-granddaughter, Rory Blaire Taylor of Eleanor; and daughter by choice, Laura Adkins of Sissonville.

No services are scheduled at this time.
