He was a retired operator with DuPont with 32 years of service. Mr. Kessler was a native of Fayette County and was a US Army veteran of WW II.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bess K. Kessler and parents, Taylor and Cora Kessler.

Surviving is his daughter, Rita Adams of Ohio; nephews, Jack Costello and his wife, Pat and John Costello and his wife, Shirley of Florida; long time friend, Greg Hess of Virginia and neighbor Libby Scott of Charleston.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Okey B. Harless officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
