Joe Andrew Stewart, 64, of Dunbar, passed away May 16, 2010, at his home surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness.

He was born in 1945 on Derricks Creek, Sissonville, to Clark and Vella Pritt Stewart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn K. Landis.

After graduating from Sissonville High School in 1964, he worked at Kanawha Manufacturing Company for 10 years. Joe retired in 2008 from AEP with 30 years of service.

He was a loving husband and father and is survived by his wife of 19 years, Patsy Stewart, one daughter, Michelle "Mimi" Walls-Semyen; four sons, Clark Holstein, Paul "Bubby" Stewart, Michael Boggess and Kenneth Boggess; special nephew, Eddie Pauley; one brother, Kermit Stewart and his wife, Myla and two sisters, Nancy Hanshaw and her husband, James and Mary Douglas and her husband, Ralph; special aunt, Phyllis Raynes and uncle, Charles Pritt. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 20, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Jack Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the Pritt Family Cemetery, Derricks Creek.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 19, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
