Joetta Shores "Joey" Hill, of St. Albans, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 71.

She was born the daughter of William (Bill) Shores and Jane Shores on September 23, 1952.

Joetta lived her life between Michigan and West Virginia, meeting many friends in both states. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, soaking by then pool, crafting, casino trips and the occasional Nintendo challenge of Mario and Tetris. Throughout her life, Joetta found fellowship through the church. She was a fan of all the finer sparkly things and enjoyed themed events putting her creative touch on many costumes over the years. She enjoyed shopping and finding a hidden treasure. She was an active participant in various groups and organizations involving boating, cars, and horse racing. Joetta was proud of her three children's accomplishments and the families they have built.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Jane Shores.

Joetta is survived by her son, Josh Daniels (Tricia); and her twin daughters, Jami Swanson (Doug) and Jodi Hansen (David), all of Michigan; eight grandchildren; her brother, Porky Shores (Valerie) of St. Albans; and many extended family members and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Donations in her memory can be sent to a charity of the donor's choosing.
