Joey E. Allagas, 38, of St. Albans, went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2015.

He received his degree from West Virginia State College. Joey was formerly employed by Shire Pharmaceutical Co. He served in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne Division. Joey always had a smile on his face and could make you smile also.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Mallory; and uncle, Craig Mallory.

Joey is survived by wife, Hannah; daughter, Canada of St. Albans; mother, Karen Dawson of South Charleston; father, Michael Allagas of California; stepfather, Tim Dawson of Nitro; brothers, Michael of St. Albans, Scott of Dunbar; grandfather, Forrest Mallory of South Charleston; aunt, Donna (Larry) Wiseman of South Charleston; uncles, David (Debbie) Mallory of South Charleston, Eugene (Pam) Mallory of Nitro; special uncle and fishing buddy, Mark (Angie) Mallory of Nitro; father and mother-in-law, George and Kathy Simpson; brother-in-law, Sam (Rebecca) Simpson.

Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Anna Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Schultz Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
