John E. Casto's Obituary
John "Ed" Casto, 85, of Dunbar, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008, at the Hubbard Hospice House.
He was retired from Charleston Newspapers and attended the Roxalana Gospel Tabernacle. Ed served his country in the US Army during WW II.
Surviving are his loving wife, Eva Jane Casto; daughter, Debra Jane Day of Dunbar; grandchildren, Shauna Allison and her husband, Mike and Shannon Day; great granddaughter, Brenna Ann Allison; sister-in-law, Doris Casto of Queen Shoals and special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 18, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Billy Jackson and the Rev. Roger Cunningham officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Rock Cemetery, Elkview.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311.
