John F. E. Peter's Obituary
John Frederick Ernest Peter, 75, of South Charleston, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Dunbar Center.
He was a retired truck driver for Cardinal and Yellow Truck Lines and was a native of Beckley. John was the son of one of the five founding members of St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Evelyn Louise Radford Peter, grandparents, Blanche and Woolsey Radford and Maria and Frederick Peter.
Surviving are his niece, Frances Ramella, nephew, Paul Eugene Peter; sister-in-law, Anna M. Constantino Peter, cousins, Ron and Sarah Turley, Marion and Terry Perkins, Fannie Brown, Diane Harvey and Tommy Pack. He is also survived by other cousins and family members.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, September 27, at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Charleston with Pastor Rafe Allison and Pastor Edward Barnett officiating.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Ron Turley and Frank Helvy for their support during this time.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
