John Kaline Morris, 62, of Charleston, West Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

Celebrating the life of the Woo Legend, John Kaline Morris was born on September 9, 1960 to the late John Walden and Florence Morris.

John was educated in the Kanawha County School system. He enjoyed playing basketball, and singing with various musical groups in Charleston. His favorite song was "Reasons" by Earth, Wind  & Fire. Everyone would always request, and love to hear him sing.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Watson; brothers, David Hill, Freddie Brown; and nephew, Kenneth Morris.

He is survived by brothers, Larry Hill (Paula), and Melvin Hill of Charleston; sisters, Delores, affectionately known as "Peaches" of Charleston, and Patricia Watts (Don) of Kingsport, TN; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 12 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with the Reverend Joseph Booker officiating.

The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
