John Thomas Miller, 43, of Charleston, peacefully left this world to be with our Lord, after a long illness on Wednesday, October 15, 2008.

John was raised in Charleston and relocated to Virginia in the late 80's. He worked for Radva Manufacturing in Radford, VA for 19 years.

John became ill and moved back to WV to be with his family. He lived with a deteriorating condition, while keeping a positive, happy attitude.

John is survived by brothers, Keith Marchal and Glen Wooten; sisters, Patty Harper, Sara Stewart and Mary Miller; as well as 12 nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Donna Miller.

The family owes a debt of gratitude to John's co-worker and friend, Martha Samples for her support and assistance in John's last years.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kanawha Hospice. Their compassionate care and assistance in his last days was immeasurable.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 22, at Teays Valley Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Dr. Okey Harless officiating.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 21, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
