John Ray Casto, 60, of Charleston, passed away on June 21, 2021.

He was born on February 8, 1961 to the late Jackie Casto Sr. and Elsie Cox Casto.

John was a great man. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. John will be loved and missed by all of his friends and family, but most of all his loving wife and son.

He was always outside chopping wood, breaking down tires and junking; all with one hand. He was truly dedicated to keeping up with life. Nothing could keep him down.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Pamela Casto and Missy Casto Bays; and brother, Jackie Lee Casto Jr.

John is survived by his wife. Mina Fulks Casto; son, John Anthony Casto; grandson, Anthony Michael Casto; granddaughter, Cierra Irene Casto; niece, Abigail Anderson (Clayton); grandsons, Carter Anderson and Bentley Anderson; granddaughter, Everleigh Anderson; sister, Joanne Casto; and brother, Brad Casto.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
