John Allen Stalnaker, 58, a former Marine, died April 4, 2013, at his home in Dunbar.

He is survived by his daughters, Annie Humphrey of Marmet, Sheena Stalnaker of Charleston; sister, Virginia Atkins of Aberdeen, NC; brothers, Denver Olin Stalnaker of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Pete Stalnaker of Cedar Grove; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruby Stalnaker; sister, Barbara Johnson; and brothers, Bobby, Colin, Jimmy, David, and Roger Stalnaker.

Service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 19, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to service.

Thanks to anyone who ever helped John, including Mel, Bobby, Patty, JP, Pete, Bonnie, and Karen. In lieu of flowers, at John's request, please feed a hungry child.
