John D. Wiseman's Obituary
John "Don" Wiseman, Sr., 82, of South Charleston, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2009, in Heartland of Charleston.
Don retired from E.I. DuPont with 35 years of service. He was a 48-year member of First Church of the Nazarene, Charleston. He was a 25-year member of Civitan Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Everett and Frances K. Wiseman and three brothers and four sisters.
Mr. Wiseman is survived by his wife, Betty D. Wiseman; sons and daughters-in-law, John D., Jr. and Susan Wiseman of Winfield, Gary N. and Mollie Wiseman of South Charleston, Phillip G. and Linda Wiseman of Little River, SC; daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Ann and Richard Sloan of Ona; brothers, William "Bill" Wiseman of New Port Richey, FL, Jack Wiseman of Ravenswood; sister, Ailien Sanders of Cross Lanes; sister-in-law, Bethel Ray of Spring Hill; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 24, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Randy Lanham officiating. Entombment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
