Obituary

Jonathan Jae Tincher, 33, of Hurricane, WV was called to his Heavenly Home on January 24, 2024.

He was a loving son, fiancé, brother, grandson, and friend to all.  He was engaged to be married on June 8, 2024, to the love of his life, Evelyn Bush.  His passion for life was contagious, as was his laughter.  He loved to travel and was an avid Magic the Gathering card collector.  He was also a huge fan of professional wrestling and a lifelong learner.

Jonathan was a graduate of Nitro High School, St. John's College, and Francis King Carey School of Law University of Maryland.  He was an attorney at Willkie, Farr, and Gallagher, LLP in Washington DC and a civil rights advocate.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gerald Clonch.

Left to cherish his memories are his fiancé, Evelyn; parents, Jim and Mary Beth Tincher; sister, Bethany Tincher and her fiancé John Jenkins, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Buck and Pat Tincher; maternal grandmother, Rahma Clonch; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A service will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, WV.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. prior to the service.  A graveside service will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations be made to Legal Aid (https://legalaidwv.org/give-back/donate/) or the DC chapter of the National Lawyers Guild (https://www.dcnlg.org/donate) in his memory.

Arrangements are in care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
