Joseph Dewey Brasseur's Obituary
Joseph Dewey Brasseur, 82, of Dunbar, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013.
Respectfully, Joe served our country in the United States Navy on board the USS Hornet and the USS Randolph, with the WVP 44 Patrol Squadron and at the Naval Air Station Almeda, California and 26th Engineers Marine Reserve.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Desire and Alice Dewey Brasseur; his sisters, Alice Vincent, Leona Keeney, Olga Surry and Eva Brasseur; his wife Mona Jean Brasseur and son, Joseph Michael Brasseur.
He is survived by his sons, David and his wife Millie Brasseur and Barry and his wife Nancy Brasseur; 4 grandchildren, David Lee, Allyson, Matthew and Michael Brasseur; and life-long friend Shirley Brasseur.
In honoring Joe's final wishes, there will be no service conducted.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
