Joseph D Fleck, of Charleston, died November 8, 2015 at home after a long illness.
He was born on December 23, 1931 to the late Pete and Anna Fleck of Marmet.
Joseph served honorably in the US Army from 1952 to 1960. He retired from KRT in 1993 after 21 years of service and from Keller Funeral Home in 2005.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his brothers, Royce, Charles and Eugene; sisters, Ruth, Lilleth, and Lenna, and his wife, the love of his life, Delphia A. Fleck, who has been waiting for him in heaven since March 2005.
He is survived by one sister, Carrie Thomas of Marmet; daughter, Sharon K. Thacker; sons, David M. Fleck and wife, Bonnie, Joseph P. Fleck and wife, Hope, all of Charleston; grandchildren, Kimberly (Steve) Giannini, Michael (Amy) Fleck, David L. Fleck, Jason (Jessica) Fleck, Adam Fleck; great-grandchildren, Colton, Carra, Marina, Lucca, Ashley, Allison, Jarod, Seth and Emma; and special friend, Larry Lightner.
Joseph now resides in heaven with his bride, Delphia to enjoy eternal life together, waiting and watching for their loved ones to join them.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 12 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Terry Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Goshen Cemetery in Kentuck.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
